The Coasters, Mexico, and Six Feet
This inagural post includes, as the title aludes, The Coasters track "Down in Mexico", recently used in the film Death Proof (which was filmed in Austin, where two contributors to in-fix call home, or at least close enough). Now, "What is the six feet all about", you may ask. Well, my fair city of El Paso has just implemented a new six feet rule in our local strip clubs. Now I have been to one or two of these establisments in my day, and to fathom a six feet rule only pains me. Either way, it must be noted for those of who truly love good music, and the ladies, nothing can compare to a great lap dance paired with a soulful track like "Down in Mexico". The closest I ever got to one of these moments was a beautiful Brazilian dancer brining it lively to the sounds of Sergio Mendes track. Now that was dope! Maybe a lot dancers dont put a lot of thought into what they dance to, telling the wonderful in house DJ to play whatevers "hot", but, if girls started to dance to some of this classic souled out stuff, six feet rule or not I would gladly blow my hard earned money on getting a young women through school. And that brings me to the first "question of the week". On the same topic, I know most of us have all thought about this once in our life, but...What song would you want to get fresh to on a stage???
